PROMOTION AND WITHDRAWAL

1. There will be two unit tests and a Half Yearly Examination and attendance for these, is  compulsory. Promotion is granted on the basis of the year's work together
    with the Final examination. No further examination will be held, the result being final. The students of class I, II, III & IV will be promoted on the basis of regular
    academic performance in the class, assessed through the year. 

 2.  On the days when tests are held, attendance for the FULL DAY is essential. Students will NOT be permitted just to do the test and return home.

 3.  If the child is unwell, she should stay at home. Parents should send their daughter only if she can stay in School for the full day, or else she will not be permitted
      to do the unit test/assignment.

4.   Special arrangement cannot be made for pupils who for any reason whatsoever, are absent from the test/unit test/main examination. No retest/reexam/assignment
      will be conducted for absentees.
     
5.    A student who uses unfair means during unit tests/examination will be given zero in that subject. Repetition of the same will result in stern action.

6.   Students are not permitted to take study leave before unit test/examination, unless study leave has been sanctioned by the Principal. Marks will be deducted from
      those who are absenting themselves without prior permission.

 7.  Parent-Teacher Meetings are held periodically to assess the performance of the students. Should a parent desire to meet a teacher at any other time he/she may do so,
      by appointment. A teacher is also free to send for a parent in connection with the progress of a child, should she feel the need to do so. A student who fails twice in
      the same class will not be permitted to continue her studies in the school.

 8.  A month's notice must be given in writing by parents or guardians before the student is withdrawn, otherwise the fees for the current month will be charged. No
     Transfer Certificate will be issued until all fees due to the school are paid. The certificate will be issued 3 days after receipt of the application.

 9.    Examination and Promotion depends on child’s performance throughout the year, weekly assessments unit tests half yearly and annual exams.
